First and foremost, I'd just like to say a massive thank you to all of those that take the time to read my blog, I am very appreciative!
I guess I should start with who I am. My name is Heather, I'm 17 and from the UK. I am currently in college studying my A-Levels, which are very, very hard. My subjects of choice are Sociology, English Literature (…naturally) and English Language. I very much enjoy all the subjects I do, even though they are a complete pain in the a**!
As you can probably tell, I am a hugeeee lover of books. I have been reading ever since I can remember and it’s honestly my favourite thing in the world to do. I don’t think there are many pleasures quite like sitting down with a good book.
I have wanted to start a book blog for ages, but have never had the courage to do it. I absolutely love reading reviews and recommendations and even watching them on YouTube, and now I have finally found the courage to make one. Welcome to the word BookishNightss!
I enjoy many genres of literature, however, I must admit that I absolutely love YA. Whether it’s YA fantasy or YA contemporary, I’m all over it. I do also enjoy epic fantasy, new adult, chick lit and dystopian. I have all sorts of books on my bookcase and I can safely say they are my pride and joy!
I think that is all I have to say for now, but once again I would just like to mention how grateful I am to everybody who ready my blog!!
